you know why designers dont make clothes in over size 14? its cause it costs them more for fabric. They are just pressurised into being so painfully thin...and tha's whats happeneing to young girls today. All these gossip mags etc...its just a big mess. Why would anyone want to look like theyre at death's door?

You know "I think they should" is exactly what she meant. If you state an opinion like that, you need to back it up, if you don't then you can expect someone to ask you to.

You know "I think they should" is exactly what she meant. If you state an opinion like that, you need to back it up, if you don't then you can expect someone to ask you to.
I think you two misunderstood each other from the start.
She probably meant, 'I think they should,' and Courtney told her to back it up. After though, she asked a question and that's what NeoSteph is referring to, that she is only asking a question and now is waiting for an answer.
I think this is such a good idea. Too many people are trying too hard to be insanely skinny. If there are curvier and healthier women on the catwalk, more people will want to be healthy

BMI is not accurate for everyone, seeing as how having an Ectomorphic body is highly common in modeling. Your body type effects your BMI signifigantly. Saying BMI is ok for everyone is like saying one size shoe would fit everyone, that doesnt work.
These models being banned, if they wanted to gain weight, they probably couldnt because of their body type, so it isn't as if banning them will accomplish anything. They have a very difficult time gaining weight and muscle mass, regurdless of what they eat or how much they exercise. However, in the opposite effect, they lose weight quite easily.
You know full figured woman use to be known as "Sexy" before we had the "sexy" Skinny eat a sandwich models....
I think the image they are showing is very unhealthy and unbelievable. Were supporting anorexia and/or bulimia.....or over working out, or uses of drugs.....so these models can stay as thin as they are......I think its about time there doing something about this.
It's what most companies do.
