Psychedelic Sheep Jackass
Age: 32 Gender: Female Posts: 1313 | April 17th, 2008 at 01:16pm It's a good movie, and I only saw it because my friends and I were going to go to pottery painting, but it turned out to be wayyyy to expensive. So we walked to the cinema instead, and it was either Juno or Jumper. Since one of my friends had already seen Juno twice and liked it and the other one really wanted to see it so I got dragged in. I thought I wouldn't like it and that it would be like some chick flick, but it's really quirky and different. I recently bought the soundtrack, it's such a happy summery soundtrack. ^^ |

Belle and Sebastian, Cat Power, Velvet Underground, Moldy Peaches, Kimya Dawson, and Sonic Youth make a damn fine soundtrack too, all apparently selected by Ellen Page herself. |

I like Belle and Sebastian and Cat Power but the rest was annoying How can you not like VU? I can understand why people can't get into the Moldy Peaches and Kimya, but VU are just an overall loveable band.
I think the Kinks were definetely a highlight of the soundtrack. |

I hated the music at the start, but loved it by the end. Reaaally grew on me.
All-around adorable movie, though. Overrated, yes, but still really good. |

Eh...I have missed to watch it when it was in the cinema. But I will buy the DVD & watch it sometime. |
