Smoking

In Denmark, the taxes have been going up gradually for the past year or so.
And it does make a difference.

They also put the legal age for buying cigarettes up from 16 to 18, which also made a huge impact.
I mean, if someone's addicted and they have the money, sure, they'll keep buying. And it won't make a day-to-day difference, of course not, but when the prices go up, especially during this economy, people start to evaluate their budgets and stuff and a lot of people have stopped smoking.. Or moved on to the cheap brands.

Smoking isn't illegal under certain circumstances; it's just frowned upon.
Just let people smoke. I mean, it's their body. Let them decide.

^It isn't illegal to smoke in certain locations though? Like here, it's illegal to smoke in any restaurants, schools, and most business places, and idk other circumstances as well that I can't remember.

Oh, well I meant under certain circumstances, meaning that I know it's illegal in some areas before a certain age of consent but other than that...

Umm.. it's a personal choice isn't it?
Women shouldn't smoke when pregnant, by my moral standards though. Can't that cause issues? Shouldn't they be better informed? It's stupid how they would perhaps cost their child some quality for dragging on a cigarette.

My friend's mom smoke while she was pregnant with him. He turned out normal. Sort of....BUT I DO NOT think any pregnant woman should smoke! It can do back things just like drink while pregnant!

I smoke every once in a while, despite the health risks.
Sure, you can get cancer. But I only smoke when I'm way stressed out. And I figure the health risks from being way stressed out are about the same as those of smoking a cigarette here or there.
I might as well enjoy my menthols instead of being all tense.

I know. It's just so annoying to walk into a group of smokers and then I have to take a shower because I smell like smoke.

But if you're addicted and feel like you NEED it, you don't think about whether you smoking would 'annoy' someone else.

I took up smoking quite a lot when I was depressed and stressed out, it relaxed me but only for a short amount of time. The first time I found it hard to stop because when I stopped I realized that I was more stressed when I wasn't smoking. But I just refused to smoke any more cigarettes until I felt better in the end.

I did take it up a second time but then I found it easy to stop because I guess I just thought about the time when I was younger I disliked smoking and couldn't see how people could get addicted to it. When things worked out for me I stopped because of the health risks. I never smoked around anyone else that didn't like it, I'd usually ask the other person if they'd prefer me to go stand somewhere else.

I don't like it when my friends only smoke because they think it's a social thing and that it looks "cool" to have a burning cigarette in their hand as they walk through town or whatever.

My dad has always smoked from a young age but when he was that young they never really thought about the health risks as much or know as much about it so he's just never given up. My aunt was very addicted and gave up for 3 weeks but as soon as she had just one cigarette she chainsmoked for the entire day :/

I don't smoke.
Though yesterday I sent a dude in a corner shop to get me 12.5g of GV.
He got it me.
I had a panic attack, got anxious, and confessed the whole thing to my grandma.
She also made me give her an additional fag I had on top of the 12.5g.
Damn.
