Green Day ask YOU to vote!
A message from our boys was posted up on GreenDay.com as well as GreenDay.net encouraging everybody to get up and vote in the coming United States Presidential election on November 4th.
"Hey there everyone, Green Day Here!
We would like to encourage everybody to get out and vote! No surprise to everybody out there, we strongly support Barack Obama! we are asking everybody out there to vote and make your voice heard! People living in swing states especially, have a chance to make a difference in what could be the most influential and historic election ever!!! This is our chance to choose our own future, and exercise our patriotism! Know your rights, use your voice, use your Vote!!!!
Mike, Billie, and Tre"

You have valid points Emmaroids! But idk, it just seems like O likes to say "change" a lot,but is very vague about what he wants to do about it. He says that word w/o saying much else.

Although... while Obama's ahead in the polls now... I still think McCain'll get it. I think that the American public (and I am by no means generalising) will get scared of the possibility of change and will vote Republican at the last minute. Also... Obama's counting on the young vote... and young people are less likely to vote. It would be nice if the Democrats won though. I mean, the English government can think for itself so it would be good if we're following someone who talks sense. That way we might all stop starting wars based on rumours. Seriously, it's like The Jeremy Kyle Show with an extended vocabulary.

If I was American... and old enough to vote... I'd well vote for Obama. The right wing of politics is stupid (in my opinion). I can't wait till I'm 18... I just hope Gordon holds off the election till 2010... I can vote then! :D x
