New Guitarist for Tour
It has been announced that Jeff Matika will be touring with Green Day on their 19 month world tour. It has been speculated that Billie Joe will do more "frontmaning" as opposed to playing guitar, so a third guitarist was needed. Jeff Matika has never been in a Green Day tribute band that I know of. He's been in a band called Ashtray Babyhead for the last few years, He's a great, hardworking musician and a very likable guy. He's not going to take the spotlight away from any of the actual members of Green Day. So, get over it...y'all.

I'm not sure how I feel about this one. Billie writes the songs and records them, I think he should perform them as well...right? 3 guitarists is a bit much in my honest opinion.

It's not like Billie Joe's not going to be seen ever again.
He'll be there performing and singing, but like he's said in interviews, this new album has a lot of piano in it. So... That probably means that he'll be playing the piano most of the time while singing.
He may be great, but he can't play guitar and piano at the same time.
