Watch Basket Case

The music video for Basket Case is the 2nd video released from the album Dookie. It was filmed in an insane asylum in San Fransisco (Green Day's idea) by Mark Kohr, who originally filmed the video in black and white. The video features the band playing in front of patients and also in random scenes of a "padded room", taking pills, breaking windows and swimming in fish tanks. It was just after the recording of the video, filmed in April '94, that Billie was watching TV and found out that Kurt Cobain of Nirvana had killed himself.
