They do not ignore the children. They are called Child psychologists for a reason - they help children, listen to children and meet the needs of a child.
Just because you've had bad encounters with people, does not mean everyone else has. You're completley bashing an entire profession because you've had a bad experience. That's narrow minded.

They don't just tell me, they show me. It's call productive counselling. I understand the indepth of it all. You're being ingnorant to my profession and to the fact that I help people who have encountered this ordeal.
All I can say is that I have never encountered the experience, but I have a very, very good grasp on what it's like.
Never once! Not once! Have I excused someone over child abuse because of their circumstances. I have UNDERSTOOD why they are being excused. But being honest, it isn't even being excused, it's taking into account why they did such a thing.

Regardless of whether or not you think it, it's reality that it's a cause for people to do these things. They aren't aware that they are doing it.
Just like an alziemers patients forgets, a depressed patient feels unconnected emotions and a schizophrenic patients alters - it' not their fault, they can't help it without being helped.
I've already told you that I'm not a child abuse victim and I don't care to know if you are or anyone else is. I don't have the memories of being abused, but I do have hand on hand experience with victims and I have studies, support and good reputation behind me.

Well, I'm not the one that made it up. So, talk to those people who did. Plus, they were snot-nosed in the 60's like punk rockers were and are. So, whatever. They are the "Godfathers of Punk." I don't see why it matters.
