Umm... I dunno. I mean, almost all Green Day's albums are mainstream and I still love em.
Sex pistols always were corporate hor3s. They weren't even a proper band. Their manager put them together :O
Though I have to say, there is a certain appeal in a music that is "just for you" :) no morons listening it.
Like for example... why does Minor Threat appeal to me more than Ramones... Because A) Their lyrics actually make sense. B) Nobody listens to them and everybody listens to Ramones :)

And part of why I don't like Rotten is cause I once heard Simmons say -on Henry Rollins Show- that Rotten is one of the few people (especially punks) who openly admits that it's only about money to him.

Well, I just watched it. Not that great really. Although Gary Oldman was pretty good.
Lordi is HORRIBLE. Just like Kiss and all the other sh*tty rock bands who think only "the show" matters. Lame.
