It's like a blog. You can change the theme of your blog -- as you can see by ~my blog, but yeah. Basically you can post text, photos, videos, audio, a chat post, or a quote. Quoting songs is fun. You really only get the full effect of Tumblr once you start following a lot of people, because they're updates will show on your Dashboard. It's like Facebook, but much less tedious.
