Well obviously Peter's not going to strangle himself, is he?
And i doubt Voldemort would give him a hand that powerful and let Peter have complete control. There's probably some vague enchantment which meant that if Peter betrayed Voldemort at all, he'd be dead before you can say 'Pwned'. |

They should definitely put it in. Lupin is a popular enough character that the scene should be made for him. |

Posts: 17669 | July 30th, 2007 at 08:52pm Nah, I don't think we should have seen Lupin's death, because we see most of the books from Harry's point of view, and Harry finds out when he goes to the great hall. If we found out, and then Harry's reaction was like, a chapter later or something, it wouldn't mean anything. It'd just be old news.
But that's how wars are, you come back after you've been fighting to find people dead. That's the way it goes. Harry's not going to witness every single death.
And, I think it must have been Dolohov that killed him, because Aberforth (I think) said he was duelling him and then Tonks ran off to find him. |
