Hahaha what about Voldie as a doting father, but switching between that and evil when he's talking to the kid and the death eaters.

Split personality much?

D'you reckon the headteacher would let the kid into Hogwarts even if he started long after Voldie was dead and wasn't around him long enough to have his influence?

Yeah I thought about that after I saw the cover.

That'd be wicked.

Or d'you think it's the artist's impression of a thestral?

Either way, it looks osm.

It's not a thestral, it's a dragon. Thestrals are smaller, only one person can mount a thestral, and in the drawing, Harry, Ron and Hermione are on the creature.

Yeah I know, but artists don't always listen to the description...like early Dumbledore, which was just completely wtf. And Harry with brown hair on Philosopher's Stone, again wtf.

Actually, Philosopher's Stone was a bit dire all round for artists not reading the description of what they're drawing.

That was before when they didn't know that Harry Potter was going to hit, so maybe that's why, and now they draw so precisely...

I still think it's a dragon.

Just because a book might not be big, there's no reason not to illustrate properly. I mean, things like hair colour are pretty simple things to get right, no?

I'm just saying it could be a thestral, cos they look similar. Personally I think it's a dragon too, but one doesn't like to assume.
