This just reminds me of the irritation I get sometimes over my name! My name is Andrea.. And it's not allways considered a girl name... Plus I react when someone says Andreas, which is a common swedish boy name...
CristhyneS Jackass Age: 34 Gender: Female Posts: 1400	October 18th, 2006 at 05:20pm Andrea is such a common girl name in Venezuela! Actually my best(and only, actually) girl friend's name is Andrea. I bet is prnnounced differently. I guess Swedish must have some influence from Greek? I think andrea comes from a greek male thing/name. The irritation I get for my name is that very few people pronounce it correctly, and no one can spell it right.
