GUNS!!!

I want to know why you all think we are obsessed with guns? Now me i think they are good for farmers to protect they're live stock, but i dont think that they should be carried around like a fashion item.

Why are guns readily avaliaibe to somtimes young people.
why do we think its ok to shoot in woods at rabbits
why do we think its ok to keep guns in houses. (somtimes loaded)
what age do you all think we should be before we can buy a gun legally? I think that anyone over the age of 20.
why do some people think that kids should be able to fire guns?
why do perants think that toy guns are OK toys for kids? (my kids never had toy guns)
should the police be allowed to carry guns?

personally i HATE guns with a passion.

my dad collects guns and when my Papa died he got to keep all of my papas guns as well as the cabinet they are stored in. my papa made this cabinet and its in our living room. our front door is in our living room so generally when you walk in the house that the first thig you see. they are locked and the ammo is stored in a fireproof safe, and im not sure where my parents put it. my dad doesnt hunt..or not anymore but its part of him that is dear because of his father. guns are ok as long as theyre not abused...sometimes people go too far!

Guns just piss me off.

I believe that only police officers should have possesion of guns. Think about how much the crime rate would go down.

I hate guns. They should be banned in every country, no one except the army and riot police should be aloud access to them, and even then only in exterm circumstances.

But having said that I don't mind plastic guns, I mean the really fake looking ones that couldn't possible be mistaken for the real things are quite fun. And who doesn't love water guns?

i think guns are evil and if your caught carrying one then there should be a prison sentence involved because guns are only used for one thing and one thing only.

However farmers who have tp protect they're living need guns.

I'm not passionately against guns, but I still think laws on them should be tightened up. Gun laws have been responsible for high-school shootings (in extreme cases). But I believe farmers and agricultural workers should be able to posses them, with a strict policy in place to prevent anything dangerous happening. Not that I think they have a great need to shoot anything.

I don't like guns, but I hate ''cool'' guys with guns, specially(sp?) teenagers.

I don't hate guns alot. People shouldn't really have acess to them though.. apart from the police, people in the army... generally people who need them.

I don't likr guns at all.
I always think if you carry a weapon you intend on using it.
If you don't carry a weapon you can even think about using it.

I hate guns, I think farmers should be able to use them but whenever my dog hears the farmer's gunshot go off she starts shaking and runnung back into the house which shows you how much it can scare people, never mind dogs, I don't think rappers promote them though, maybe some but not all rappers

his father (my papa) used to, and he would go with him when he was a teenager but i dont think he ever hunted anything..my papa did but no, my dad didnt

I hate guns (because they're the avatar, the symbol of the "Macho Man" stereotype.....see songs, "Big Man With a Gun" by Nine Inch Nails and "In Bloom" by Nirvana)....but that's no reason to make them illegal
if they were illegal then the only people that have guns are the people doing illegal things with them (if you plan to kill some one you don't care if guns are illegal anyway

guns aren't readily available to young people
I went to a store that sells guns and hunting supplies......I couldn't touch a bow and arrow because I wasn't 18, and I can't touch and unloaded gun until I'm 21 there

it may be different at pawn shops, but still

only really sick people shoot rabbits, and if they didn't have guns they'd use knives
it is okay to keep a gun in the house; keep the safety on, but I don't want an armed robber to brake in and all I have to protect me is a baseball bat

age shouldn't matter with guns, it shouldn't matter with anything, we should require a licence.....a strict one and there should be a licence for every level of gun, the more dengerous, the more strict the licence

I had plenty of toy guns and I grew up to be a feminist that would not be interested in touching a real one
toy guns won't make the child think that guns are okay

and yes I have sympathy, one of my best friends had her best friend die because some one who fucked around with guns......it does suck

If guns were made illegal, (as its alreayd been said) people who use guns for illegal things wouldn't really be affect since they most likely don't care about the law anyway. If you want to have a gun, it should be your choice.

How so? Are you saying that it a guns fault someone is killed? The weapon itself has nothing to do with it. The idiot behind the gun is who should be held responsible Explain to me how an inanimate object can be held responsible for a persons action?
