BillieJoeArmstrong'sLover Shoot Me, I'm A Newbie
Age: - Gender: - Posts: 61 | April 1st, 2006 at 11:13am I would have never become a GD freak. I used to listen to Top 40 radio (sad, but true) and I did not know about GD until American Idiot came out. I am too young to remember Dookie coming out in 1994. So yeah, if GD would have broken up, I never would have heard of them....that would suck...this maybe a very stupid question, but why did they want to call it quits? I had heard Tre and Mike accused Billie of being a "band nazi" and something about BJ hogging all the fame...but I could be wrong.... |

| April 1st, 2006 at 11:44pm St.Azzie:I could still be a Green Day freak. It's not like when a band brakes up all their music goes boom. You can still listen to it.
S I'd be right here, just without my AI tour t-shirt on right now. =P

True.
Only I'd be less focused on Green Day and their influences.
I'd definately have stayed stuck on Rolling Stones and the Beatles and Aerosmith, maybe some Nirvana.
Those sorts of bands. |

Mmmh. Maybe it was meant, tho... So maybe I would've find out they had existed.
And what, nirvana doesn't exist anymore, and we still listen to their records. |

huge-ass Tripp pants all the time and scare the crap out of "normal" people. |

I would feel the same way.
It's not really about Green Day as much. It's just that they passively affected something in my life and if that didn't happen I'd be literally dead now
But it doesn't really make much difference |
