I'm getting sick of the American Idiot deal I'm sick of how famous they've suddenly became. In my opinion, they were better during Nimrod through Warning when they were laid back..they're just too..bleh..I dunno anymore..although everyone will argue about it, American Idiot is starting to go to their heads...it's obvious.
I like bands who are real. Green Day..they're just..they're becoming too full of themselves it seems..and it's bothin me.

they didnt "suddenly" get famous though. They've been famous since Dookie - imagine how they must of felt (their 'fan base'). Now thats 'suddenely famous'. They were just out of the spotlight more because the albums didnt do as good as what AI is doing.
I do know what you mean since their online store has now got "BoBD streetsigns" for sale. -__- But still... They know they have to make the most of it because they know it might not last.

Why are you loosing or have lost intrest in Green Day? Is it lack of new songs, repetition, posers...

Currently, I'm majorly losing interest, and believe you me I was a huge fan back in the day, but thats another subject. I think I'm losing interest because of the lack of good music, and the growing fan base, these days everyone seems to be the biggest fan of Green Day and say they have all their albums when they only have AI, International, and Nimrod.

Why are you losing interest?

I still love Green Day and always will BUT i am loosing intrest. I didnt realy like AI, it just doesnt have that something that alot of the other albums have. When I went to see them I at MK wasn't totaly inthrawled in the performance, it was good, (i lost an eyebrow to the pirotecnics) I have alot of fun but it was better afew years ago. I feel like some bit of Green Day is missing, the bit that drew me in to start.

I get the thing about loosing intrest because of the growing fan base.
It doesnt bother me anymore, but when AI first came out and thousands of 10 year old girls where talking about them I was kinda anoyed. Green Day was MY band I didnt want to shair them with thousends of anoying little ankle biters.

I think GD will always be one of my favoret bands but I dont know whether ill buy anything new. I may just stick to reminising over the old stuff.

I still love Green Day and hopefully, it'll last for a good five years. xD
