Scott plays the double bass, not just an ordinary bass. Their roots are in rockabilly, not just punk. IMO, Andy is a better drummer than Tre. Their voices sound different. Their whole sound is different... TLE aren't just punk pop. TLE are much heavier and harder and less polished. Oh, and Chris kicks most guitarists ass, let alone Billies. How many Green Day solos and complex parts to the songs are there? Now lets compare that to TLE and their songs. So uh yeah. The only similarity I can see, is that both bands have 3 members. Does that count? However, TLE are really down-to-earth. I can actually imagine going down to K-Mart and seeing them buying socks.
