xD I suppose but I've been researching him on the internet he's actually has some interesting points. Note: When it comes to politics I'm not that interested, but he spoke of income taxes that we shouldn't even pay for it. He also swore that if he were president he'd have limited power. Sorry to many conspiracy clips. xD

Off topic: Has anyone here watched the documentary, zeitgeist?
You posted a clip of that in the Awesome YouTube Videos thread, right? I watched the clip. That's all.

Yes, I think that was only a part of it, you might want to check it out on googlevideo. It's around 2 hours though. But it's quite entertaining, though there a few flaws.

I know the whole health care thing. How long has that been going on? She ends up making herself look bad when she points out his faults, she kind of reminds me of a tattletale really, Ooooo! Look at what Obama said here! Look at it! Look at it! Punch

... Well ah that's kind of how you win an election you know... point out why you're better for the job than the other candidates Coolio It scares me that you see this as a fault... what do you look for in a president?

Well I agree somewhat with Green_Day_nimrod. All politicians attack each other to get ahead, it's how the process works. But Clinton is in the position she is now [not a very good one] because she's been spending too much time slamming Obama [unsuccessfully] which makes her look like the bad person. She also has been 'mood-swingy'. One minute she's thanking Obama and saying it's an honor to be on stage with him, next minute she's yelling at him for saying allegedly false things about her, and then she apologizes and is nice again [as shown in tonight's debate...or just the bits I've seen].

Obama is doing well and is very consistent with his mood and comments. I think he truly respects Clinton and if relations with her aren't completely tarnished by the end of this, she could be the Vice for Obama.

20 debates!? Oh my, that's a crap load...What's changed? Nothing...really...nothing. April was the first one and today's could be the last one...

I like the comment about Clinton getting field goals and not touchdowns. Keith [Olbermann] really misses his football, but it was a good sports metaphor. 3 points really isn't as good as a possible 7.

Yeah. Clinton has been taking some really pathetic jabs at Obama. Whenever I see Obama talking about Clinton, it's about her policies and giving reasons why his are better. Which is good. But instead of defending her policies, Clinton has been making mountains out of mole hills. She keeps trying to make him seem like a horrible person who does horrible things. And just like Franny said, she's saying it's an honor to be running against him and debating with him. And then she goes and talks trash about him.

If I were him, I wouldn't pick her to be vice.

Well, for me personally, pointing out someones faults and making pathetic jabs aren't the same things. When Hillary does things like challenge his positions on health care, that's good. She needs to do that. But when she says things like "Shame on your Barack Obama" that's just silly. I'm sure she is genuinly honored to be running against him in an election that has the potential to be so historical, but that doesn't mean she has to like/support him.

Shifty wtf happened here why am I defending Hillary?

I know she doesn't have to like or support him. I just think if she's going to be talking about Obama, she should point out flaws in what his plans are. And explain why hers are better. Instead of making huge deals out of things that are really irrelevant. She keeps making herself look like a douche.

But. That's good for me. Because Obama will get the nomination. Con

It shows how desperate she has become by taking jabs and cheap shots instead of making legitimate critiques about his policies.

Ahaha, I think it's because everyone is trash talking Clinton you want to defend her =P I do the same thing for Bush actually. It's difficult to defend him, but I have succeeded many times Laughing

Five I've been defending Bush a lot lately, I've noticed. I just feel bad for the poor man, going down in history as the president with the lowest approval rating and the worst record. [/offtopic] Coolio

Not just his, it's his and those surrounding him. But because he's the president, he has] to take all blame.

He'll have the lowest approval rating since they started to ask people for their approval ratings...and I don't know how long that's been, but from what I hear, not that long, a hundred or so years?

Wartime presidents usually get a poor approval rating but they're still remembered [somewhat] by the good things they did. Take Harry Truman, he wasn't popular, but we still remember him today for being a good president right? What did he do? I've no idea Laughing

But the president is responsible for his approval rating. Other people around him also have low ratings, but he is supporting the same policies as they are, making his rating perfectly suitable. People don't like him, he should have thought of that before he made a bunch of choices that American's didn't want.

I don't know what you mean by wartime presidents having low ratings... that's not true. Bill Clinton left office with a high approval rating and he was a wartime president, that's just recent history. He was able to maintain that in the height of economic crisis and political scandal. Roosevelt was a wartime president, he had one of the highest approval ratings in US history, Truman had a low approval rating during the war because Americans didn't like the way he was handling it, and can you blame them? He was keeping secrets and he deserved his low rating. But, you failed to mention how during the final stages of the war when they stopped hiding so much, his approval ratings went way up. In fact, he holds the record for biggest change in approval ratings.
