It looks like she has Ohio. She's ahead by 2% in Texas, but a lot of the votes that are left to be counted are from the urban areas where Obama is ahead. So he has a chance of getting Texas. Even if he doesn't, he still has more delegates. And Clinton still has plenty of opportunities to fall on her face. Smiley

Shadow of a Doubt:
My mom thinks that by the time the actually election come people will start to dislike Obama (if he gets there, which he will). She says they'll found out stuff about him. She didn't say what kind if "stuff" and I didn't ask. I don't think the Republicans have a chance. I think everyone is sick of them.
You never know. Both parties have a chance. McCain is looking strong right now. And now he has a bunch of free time to work on his campaign against the democrats. While Obama and Clinton still have to focus their efforts on getting ahead of each other. But I think, and I hope, that whoever the democratic nominee ends up being, that they'll come out ahead of McCain. I think we need a change from Bush. A big change.

I just don't understand why anyone would be against universal health care. And I don't understand how anyone can support someone who wants to not only stay in Iraq, but send more troops over!

Well, Hillary got Ohio, they say Texas "remains close". I forget what states will be left after this...I know Pennsylvania is like the last big one....Think

Yeah...just read that...does anybody know how many delegates each of them have?

Texas - 228
Ohio - 161
Rhode Island - 32
Vermont - 23

So does anyone understand the Texas caucus and primary? I'm assuming Clinton won the primary because the caucus is still being counted and Obama is winning. But how are the delegates split? 50/50 for caucus and primary and then divide by percent?

I'm more into all or none states, more common for Republicans though, less math =)

Yeah, I live in PA and I have yet to vote. I was going to vote Republican, but since McCain already won, I might not. Someone told me to vote strategically. You know vote for Hilary of something. Even though she won't win the candidacy if you she did, she might not have a good chance against McCain. So, I don't know who I'm voting for.

Does that make sense?

I think they're split: 2/3 to the winner of the primary and 1/3 to the winner of the caucus.

Psshhyeah he had no chance. Haha. He dropped out a half an hour after the polls closed and McCain got enough delegates for the nomination.

No, Elmo, I mean, I knew he was going to drop out, considering McCain was getting all the media attention that focused on the Republicans, at least from what I've been reading. Rolling Eyes

Yeah, everyone was just waiting for when he was actually going to do it. Kind of like what everyone's been waiting for Hillary to do.
