Green Day - NRDCThe Idiot Club has updated its monthly contest, with the question “Who played violin on the Nimrod sessions?” The answer for this question is easily found in the new Green Day biography book, Nobody Likes You, which is full of information and interviews with past girlfriends and old friends.

The Grammys are also arriving fast (Sunday, 2-11-07), in which Green Day is up for Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal along with U2 for their single The Saints are Coming. Other nominees include Dani California (Red Hot Chili Peppers), How to Save a Life (The Fray), Talk (Coldplay), and Steady as She Goes (The Raconteurs). In a recent poll, Green Day was determined to be the winner of the category with over 2000 more votes than the other contenders. Green Day have not been announced as performers or presenters.

The new Green Day - NRDC site has started a myspace page, complete with contests and extra videos. The Green Day-NRDC are joining together to bring the youth of the nation together in having “your say” against how the government is supplying to Global Warming.
