I read on there that RAB (the person who destroyed the 'horcrux' that Harry and Dumbledore went after) could be Regulus Black.

As soon as I read that in the book I put it down, racked my brains and then realised that it could've been him. I punched the air and thought "no wonder Voldemort wanted to kill him". Now I'm smiling like a cheshire cat that I could possibly be right Con

I think we discussed that one and Jo said it was too obvious to be the answer. Coolio

But didn't she also say that the answer was in the books?

What're the options? Think

I read somewhere else that Jo said Regulus was "an excellent guess"...

But yeah. I don't go on all the theory sites like you lot do. I think that was my first time when I clicked on the veritaserum link... so the theories I have are pretty much my own Con

OK, from my recent re-reads, I read over something interesting in the fourth book once Harry was in Dumbledore's office after the Triwizard tournament with Sirius, telling them about what happened once he touched the portkey.

OK so Harry was talking about how Lord Voldermort used his blood as 'blood of the enemy' and Harry's point of views says he thought he saw a flisker of triumph in Professor Dumbledore's eyes as Dumbledore examins the cut on Harry's arm, but he then say he 'must have been mistaken'. So, is it possible he wasn't mistaken? I don't think that J.K. Rowling would include such a minute thing when previous, every minute detail has played such as important part in the plot of he stories.

So could Dumbledore possibly have known and hoped that Harry's blood would be used to arise Lord Voldermort again due to Harry's mother's protection? Maybe it might have something important in the last book?

That's my little theory.

Well there was a look of triumph in Dumbledore's eyes when Harry said Voldemort used his blood.

But I don't remember him saying anything about being mistaken.

He did.
because he said something like 'but he must've been mistaken because his eyes were just as...' or whatever
I remember thinking it was odd that 'a look of triumph' was described.
When i first read it I remember going "AHA DUMBLES IS EVIL" Coolio

Oh, I thought you meant Dumbledore said he must have been mistaken.

But no, I get what you mean now. Harry thought he must have been mistaken because it was such a fleeting look.
