Animal testing.

So are you pro or anti? I'm a mixture of both. I'm against animal testing if it is for the use of make-up or cosmetic. Just buy your bloody stuff at t ashop that dosn't test it on animals. A life of an animal should come before vanity. But if it is for medical needs I am for it. Sometimes it dosn't work and has side effects, but in other cases such as insulin, if it wasn't for animal testing my closest friend would be dead as she is diabetic.

i think its wrong to test on animals for cosmetic reseans, if people are the ones who want the product test it on them. but if its for medical reseans...i guess i think thats ok, though its still cruel it can save lives

i don't use any soaps that don't say they didn't test on animals. i think its cruel. it should only be used for life saving medications and such.

im for animal testing involving drugs. id rather some rats died than my family died of cancer. i know that sounds extreme and slefish, but im sure most people would put their family or friends over a mouse.
im against it when they test make - up on animals though. they also test ribena and lucozade on animals, which is just stupid.
we should test drugs etc. on murderers and rapists - ian huntly would make a good lab rat

i think if it's for medical research that could help save lives or stop pain and suffering then sure, animals can help, as can humans. But if its just to make another version of a painkiller that's already on the market and has been for years, then what's the point??? Also i think it's wrong to kill an animal just so a human can look a little bit better, (or not, in some cases)

I've got these leaflets which exposes animal testing, this company called Procter and Gamble is testing on animals on loads of big brands, it's horrid what they do.

yer, i saw these pictures of what they do to animals, and i was like "aw...thts horrible" me and my old mates used to oppose stuff like that, but where i live now, if you try and oppose anything, you get put in jail or something...its annoying

i think science has come far enough for them to be able to not have to test on animals. I always thought that an animals DNA structure was completely different to a humans so when drugs were tested on animals and didn't effect them it doesn't neccessarily mean it wouldn't affect humans. But then if that was true they wouldn't be testing on animals in the first place.

I don't think it is right, i just hope they will soon find new ways of testing things out because, animals have feelings too and if humans were ever put through what they put animals through i think they would have a big wake up call. Disgusting

I think cosmetic testing is wrong but if its for medical research they i agree with it

I try to buy as much make up as possible at Body Shop, there u can be sure of that they haven't test it on animals

I'm against animal testing. We can test that stuff on people it would give better results. I don't mean inocent people, I mean like Saddam Husein and Bush

that's what i meant by my post surely an animals genetic make up reacts differently to a humans. How they can they be so sure of everything when they've never tested a human?

sometimes they pay skint people to test makeup and stuff on after animals... you have to be very skint

There always are fanatics. They aren't allways animal rights organizations, they have religious fanatics in the world too. I don't use stuff that's tested on animals. And to tell you the truth, nivea pruduct are just fine, and avon mascara is better than that maxfactor overrated stuff any way.

I don't agree with it. I think it's wrong. Just don't put harmful shit it make-up, and there's no need to test on Animals.

because its too cruel to do on humans. i did a report on this. its very...cruel. they say its too cruel to do on humans so they do it on animals. because they have no 'feelings'
