Like some people go out with 500 people a year and say about everyone they went out with that they love them. Do they really feel love or are they just saying it for more and more...? |

Age: - Gender: - Posts: 490 | June 30th, 2005 at 12:10pm i think people say it too much now. younger people think of love differently to older people, and sometimes people mean it in a friendly way, but other times they're like "oh im in love with so and so" then the next day they hate him...that isnt love, that's curiosity |

Age: - Gender: - Posts: 21 | June 30th, 2005 at 03:52pm People definately say it too much. I say it to my boyfriend.
It was weird, because I never said it to any of my boyfriends...I thought it was overrated. And he never said it to his previous girlfriend because he hated her...
But on the day after we met, we both kind of blurted it out at the same time and then were all blushing and gibbering incoherently. Love does exist, but people put too much store on it. Just because you date someone is no reason to "love" them.
My boyfriend and I were engaged for a while and have broken up twice (which is why we're no longer engaged but I still wear the necklace he got me. [On Valentine's Day we went out to a movie and then to dinner and at dinner, he gambled at a Keno machine and won $500, only spending $3 of his own. ^^, so he bought me a $200 necklace<3]) but we've never broken up for longer than a half a day...
I think we really have something special that not many people experience. And if they do, even fewer realize it.
SO, KIDDIES. Don't tell someone you love them, unless you're just friends (like I tell my girl friends that I love them<3) or if you really really mean it. If you tell someone you love them and they believe you, it makes it a lot harder when you dumpem. |

I hate it when people dismiss it though. Oh no you can't love her you're only 13....I wouldn't say it if I didn't mean it.I think you can love your friends in a friendly way but you're not in love with them, some people just can't tell the difference. |

Age: 35 Gender: Female Posts: 3542 | July 1st, 2005 at 08:45pm Like I said in the other topic, I'm 15 and I BARELY know what it is. I only feel it for my family, freinds, and God. That's it. But I really have not been really loved. Yeah the family, but I rarely say I love you. I just feel funny. May sound weird, but I feel as if I'm lying, when I'm not. When I do say it, I kinda mumble it. But some girls and guys do go out with many people a year and say that they're in love. That's how one of my cousins is. But, eh. I just hope they do find out what love truely is. I want to find out what love TRUELY is myself..... Oh yeah. And I love Green Day but that's another discussion. |
