are there too many young people haveing sex now? like there are 11 year olds doing it im 13 and im a virgen do you also find that too young???

yeah...i'm 13, i'm a virgin too, i mean, they have plenty of time, no hurry, i mean, why do they need to um...well. y do they need to try everythin right away, it takes all the fun out of everythin...i mean, i can wait, no need to hurry,...i have plenty of time,... or, some ppl, do that so young, cuz they wanna show off for their friends, so they can say "oh yeah, i have tryed it, it's cool, now i'm pop"...thats so WRONG.. or what do u think?

It´s pretty early, but I think if ppl feel it´s the right thing, and don´t just do it for the other one or something else, ppl should do what they want, really.

The only thing is that kids that age or whatever age in most cases aren´t aware of the risks.
Not only pregnancy, but AIDS and so on.

I'm 13 also and most of the girls in my year have lost their virginity and personally i think it's insane!

i find it wrong but if they want to get pregnant and have kids and throw their life away when they are teenagers.so be it.i won't be anyway.

I think that people having sex at my age (13) is ridiculous! Why do you think there's an AIDS epidemic and so many other diseases? People start having sex younger and younger. My ex asked me if I'd have sex with him so many times and I just kept telling him no. I don't plan on losing my viriginity as a young teen, or even in high school.

im 14, and a lot of the girls in my grade have lost of their virginity, but none of the guys.....

because the 22 year olds are having all the fun, not really, but its kind of a joke between guys here, that none us want to have sex with someone who lost their viginity to a 22 year old, meh. but then again, its only about a quarter of the grade, the rest are PURE, whoa. in hichtown here people are somewhat religious, so a lot of people abstain, and because its a small town and if your different, people shun you, not saying i do that, but its a social trend. so when girls lose their viginity to people twice their age, its different, and tehyre shunned, so its not something that happens a lot.

my bestfriend lost her virginity when she was 13.. since then I don't know how many she has fucked, but anyways... I'm (almost) 17, I'm not a virgin, but most of my friends are..
but I know a lot of other girls that are like 12 years old.. and they have se with boys who are 20 thst's not even legal...

what pisses me off is when people say "if you lose your viginity at 13 your a slut" not really... to be a slut you would sleep around with lots of people. Losing your virginity young doesnt really mean anything, i was 14 when i lost mine... i dont sleep around, never have done never will. Yes people are losing it young but thats either to peer pressure or they think they're in love. I only told my closest friends when i did it so i didnt do it to 'be popular' i thought i was in love also losing it is not as special as everyone likes to make out...
also why is it when a guy loses it young hes cool when a girl does it shes whore? never understood that one. Also im not doing anything illegal anymore, im 17, legal age where i live is 16.

What annoys me, is that if an underage couple have sex, it's the guy that gets the "blame" for it, even though the girl was just as much a part of it. I find that sexist, but whatever.

As for age, I think people should be allowed to do it when they want. If everyone is told in school about sex education when they're about 11 or so, shouldn't that therefore make them capable of knowing what or what not to do?

In this country you can get married and have sex at 16, yet your still not allowed to drive or even drink. Isn't that saying something?

for the first thing you said.. we have a weird rule here, it's like you aren't allowed to have sex before you're 16, but it's accepted if both the people having sex are under 16.. but if one is over 16 and the other one isn't then it's illegal.. that's a bit weird..

the other thing you said.. it's very weird that we are allowed to have sex when we are 16, but we can't drive a car, drink alcohol or vote or anything

okay, this is an important thing to dicuss...im glad people here seem to be able to just talk about it, because sex is taboo for so many people...by that i mean, so many people are having sex, but theyre afraid to talk about it. furthermore, blaming the guy for sexual activity that was invited on both ends of the relationship is thoroughly unfair and yes, sexist. i personally feel, that waiting at least until age 18 to have sex is the best choice for me, because then i will be a legal adult and thus, legally responsible for my actions. too many people feel that having sex early is cool or something...but i really see that as society and the media pushing that image. sex sells, its true...but it isnt right to try to sell it to kids, you know?

Most people who have sex young do it coz they wanna seem older, or more mature, but in the end it makes them seem immature because they don't really know what they're getting into, with the STDs and pregnancy stuf.
