I think they're overrated as well, but not because I don't like the people in the band. Their music gives me a headache and every time I say that everyone yells at me.
I don't see the hype. :/

exactly my point, I love Hot Fuss it's one of my favorites. But I really don't get the fuss of booking them on every other festival and the whole hype around Human.

Yes he was a 'Great Entertainer' (that has nothing to do with the music?) thriller was great, he only had one good album, he just turned into a crashing bore.
750mil records sold yes, popularity does not always mean that the person is absolutely amazing, the beatles sold less albums, they were better.
