Oh_Whatsername Shoot Me, I'm A Newbie Age: 27 Gender: Female Posts: 48	December 21st, 2011 at 07:16pm My dad likes Green Day, but I wouldn't necesarrily use the word "love". He liked their first album Dookie and listened to them around when they first started as a band. But he stopped listening to them after nimrod... or before. But my grandmother HATES them -_- She'll always be so mean. Like I was listening to Nice Guys Finish Last and she made a comment on the lyrics and tried to have me stop listening to them... Haha yeah right But my uncle used to like them and calls them sellouts and all that stupid shit. My mom thinks they're ok but like people like the Black Eyed Peas. So yeah. Usually I have to only listen to them on earphones because most people in my house don't allow "that kind of language" But I still love em no matter what anyone says ^_^

Otherwise, they don't really aprove of the band, in or outside of the music, but thankfully they aren't the type of parents to stop their kids from listening to music just because they don't like it. I just know they definatley prefer that I listen to GD over Asking Alexandria or something though, so that's one plus to that, I guess.

I know if they ever found out that the band are bisexual I wouldn't ever het to listen to them ever again, so I just kinda try not to talk about them, so my parents won't go looking about them on the internet.
