Bleach:
That sounded pointless, but what I'm trying to say is that not every single mind altering substanes are terrible, although many are. Some can give great bliss and spiritual experiences. So many psychonauts say its the best thing that can happen to a human being. My point is that by being straight edge, youre shunning that from your life. I personally find that very unfortunate.

..But by being straight edge, you're also shunning the chance of OD'ing and dying at an early age. Coolio
I'm sure that there are other events that are the "best thing that can happen to a human being" that don't involve taking drugs of any kind.

you cant od on LSD... okay, you CAN. but, it's extremely hard to.. you have to take 32,000 times the normal dose to die from it. or something like that.

eh, I'd beg to differ.

BUT IM NOT GETTING INTO THIS ARGUMENT AGAIN LALALALALA I CANT HEAR YOU

well duh duh and duh.
I never said all drugs are harmless
there really isn't anything you can do to LSD [just saying.. Coolio]
and like I said, be responsible if you are, and use clean equipment. if youre an idiot and dont do that, then if you get AIDS, its your own problem. sad, but it's your own problem.

like I said, do I have to keep on repeating my self? seriously. be responsible, do your research, and this stuff will not happen.
-flashbacks don't happen so often. even if they did, what is so bad about them? they last... 20 seconds to 5 minutes. and theycan only occur about a few weeks to a few months after use.
- I researched this drug, and it does say, DO NOT TAKE LSD IF YOUR FAMILY HAS A HISTORY OF ANY MENTAL ILLENSS. this can trigger it. I was responsible, researched it, found this out, I asked my mom if our family has and history, there isn't, so I'm pretty sure I'm okay.
- I have not yet heard of this, the rapid mood swings. you typically just get tired.
- again.
- a large dose is a FUCKING HUGE DOSE. there is a myth that LSD makes your brain bleed.... hm. to acheive these side effects, you would need to take about 10-20 thumbprints. look up a thumbprint.

what is your source? I even looked up the negative effects of LSD myself a month ago, and I read the result from an anti-drug government site. you know how bad they like to make drugs and chemicals look. even there, there wasn't much to say.

by clean I meant brand new... and if by clean you also mean brand new, I think there would be some major issues considering diabetics, blood drawing, and vaccines. I dont care about putting a needle in my arm, because I'm not going to. useful info if you plan on sticking needles in your arm, though.

yeah, I know, and thats the risk that needle users take. cant control that. you take a risk riding a bike, riding in a car, leaving your house.

even if you are responsible, you can't control infections or any possible rejection your body might have.

and it doesn't matter if you have a history of mental illness in your or your family, they said it only increases the chance, they did not say it eliminates it completely.

this was my source.

btw, you're a really good debater. are you on the debate team in your high school or something?
yeah, I know, and thats the risk that needle users take. cant control that. you take a risk riding a bike, riding in a car, leaving your house.

again, of course. another risk to take. or you can use the drug responsibly and don't use it every month. you can also still have a risk of brain deficency of not getting your DV of vitamin B's. but we still do it.
and it is a very rare occurence

OMGyes really? omg ty ty I thought I was a shit debator.
no, I'm not. haha. I'm actually not very good at coming up with defenses on the spot, so no debate team.

it is a rare occurance, but it does happen.

and you're welocme, i find your debating quite intelligent. Coolio
eh, yeah. but you can do research to take the best precautions to avoid anything bad. you do that when you do anything else as well. You wear your seatbelt and keep an eye on the road when you drive to do your best to avoid a car accident, but it can still happen.

omg ty beaming right now

yeah but this is a bit hypocritical.
you won't do LSD because it can very rarely give you shitzophrenia [if you know you dont have a history of it or anything else]
yet you jump in a car everyday with the chance of dying in a car accident.

Jello Biafra.:
Ok
For those of you who don't know what straight edge is, it means that you are making a personal ban on drinking and drugs for your whole life. Straight edge people usually mark it by drawing black Xs on their hands with Sharpies.

It was started by the 1980s hardcore punk band Minor Threat

Do you think that it's ridiculous to pledge something for the rest of your life or do you think that it is possible to follow this?

Well, if you are strong willed, you can make your self do anything.
but to be honest, i do think it is quite odd to pledge something for the rest of your life, especially when you are young. when you are young, you dont even know for sure what you are going to DO when you grow up.... so why would you force yourself into doing something like that?
