Shoes For a Cause
Billie Joe has teamed up with Converse and the Product Red charity to create his own custom designed shoe. 10% of the sales from each pair of shoes gets donated to the Product Red charity. The money earned by this charity goes to help fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. The price on Billie's design is $69.99 (USD). Green Day was also mentioned in an article in the Sun Times about Pansy Division:

Now, on to less exciting news. Green Day unfortunately lost at the EMAs. They were nominated for Best Act Ever, which was won by Rick Astley.

Does anyone in the states even know who Rick Astley is? I guess thats why its European. I wanted U2 to win. Bilie's cons look awesome with the hemp and all, but you could just design your own, and donate seven dollars (thats 10% of all seventy bucks that the shoes cost) to RED (or more you know, just invision starving children eating you to the bone, that always works for me).
