Sneaking smokes from my sister's bedside drawer. You called me up crying and I had to tell you it was true. I know your Mum was drunk, but she cares more than anyone. Days spent in your pool when it's too hot to be anywhere else. I kissed you and you tasted like Cheezels, once. God, his skin is so clear, so tan and his lips with an amazing cupids bow. When you pee'd behind a tree on a main road. In the cinemas you always tell me no one's looking. We both fit the same jeans. I finally got the courage to yell at her, she shut up. I hate that you're better at Home Ec than me, but I tell you otherise. You're there for me when no-one else is. The long bike rides to the Top- Shop for red liquorice and Ovalteenies. His impeciable taste in foot-wear. Long bus-rides from the city and dread-beads. Secret kisses in cooking. Your mum's ginger cake that's always in a little alfoil package for me to take home. Un-buttoning the doona and sitting inside it on cold days. The fight for some-ones icey-pole when it's over 30 degrees. Connecting the freckles on my arms. Promise me you'll live the moment, this is just the beginning.

my new years wasn't THAT bad.
i sat in my bed (i have a trundel bed) and read 'letters from the inside' (a great read); ate lays chips, chocolate, and drank a sprite; watched disney channel; messed with my rubik's cube; listened to my ipod (new nano!); listened to fireworks being shot off, as well. then at midnight i went to wake up my dad, and we said 'happy new years'. i went back into my room, stood on my desk to look out my window and watched my neighbors shoot off fire works. then i watched kathy griffin on the telly. :D it was better than i thought it'd be, tbh. even though i was alone.

japan? you are so lucky, gem. btw, is it ok if i call you 'gem'?
the cayman islands. specifically, grand cayman. they are these 3 tiny islands by jamaica, and it's absolutely beautiful there. my favorite part was stingray city, tbh.
you can go on these boat rides out into this sandbar in the middle of the ocean, and TONS of stingrays are swimming around. then water is really shallow and you have to shuffle your feet so you don't step on the stingrays. and you can feed them and the guides will hold them (the stingrays) so you can 'hug' or 'kiss' them.
i wish i could go back. D:
