Bush Hate, Inspired By Green Day?

I think the people that do just because Green Day do, are either brainwashed or just trend seekers.

I don't hate Bush, but I don't love him either.
My dad's rebuplican, and my mom's democrat so most of the time i don't really know which side to believe.

I hated george bush before i had heard american idiot or any of there other songs. i had heard of them but had no idea what they stood for or beleived in so they couldn't of made me think that bush was a little fucker who has no idea how to run a country when i already thought that.

I don't think it's bad though, if some people woke up because of Green Day and realized "holy fucking shit, our president's a dick".

Or even if it got them to think that he wasn't.

i do shamefully admit that green day were the first "political" band that i'd ever heard, it was only after a found them that i got into the other bands that i mentioned.
i guess for someone who has never even thought about politics, it does sound quite revolutionary.

I think that yes, some people will hate Bush due to Green Day. I mean music has a major effect on people's lives, so therefore people who like Green Day would hate Bush due to their music such as American Idiot, Favourite Son etc.

However, there are some people like me who like Green Day that don't hate Bush (I don't like him either), but like to see the piss taken out of him sometimes (parodies and such). But that hasn't been due to Green Day. There are other people that hate Bush for other reasons, such as the families of those sent to Afghanistan, Iraq and alike, especially those of the deceased.

Al Quaeda is run by a saudi arabian citizen. just because he thinks that Bin Laden is hiding in afganistan doesnt mean they can bomb the fuck out of the place. 2)our good ol heroic president next told his army to invade iraq, for 2 reasons. a)they had weapons of mass destruction.. apparently.. (still looking, and all they're finding is startled goat herders)..and b)because they were suporting Al Quaeda.. both lies. if there were weapons of mass destruction, dont you think they would have either been found or used by now? and iraq wasnt supporting Al Queada, not publicly at least, because saddam hussain would not have a bar of it! he DID have links with other terrorist groups, but not that one. he wasnt a good man, but he wasnt a fan of Al Queada either.
