Green Day set out on the "Nimrod." tour. Billie, caught on tape, jumped into the crowd at a show at the Fillmore (in CA, USA) in terms of fighting one of the "mohawk mother fuckers" in the crowd.

Promoting their album "Insomniac", Mike also picked a fight with a fan in the crowd who stuck their arm down a girl's pants who was crowd surfing. Billie Joe was dressed in a clown suit.

Now on a major label, Green Day went out on a tour to promote the new album "Dookie". They headed out in a bookmobile and joined the 1994 Lollapalooza tour as the underdogs, as well as performed one of the most well-known Woodstock performances; mud and all. Billie also, as a very famous stunt, performed "She" naked at Madison Square Garden for charity.

Heading out on another tour, with Al Soborante as their drummer, Green Day traveled all across the United States. It was during this tour, in Minnesota, that Billie Joe met Adrienne Nesser, now currently his wife. They headed back out in late 1990 with Tre as their new drummer.

The first tour Green Day took off on across the western side of the United States from garages to small house parties. They left the day after Mike graduated from high school, with Al Soborante on drums.
