I mostly swear in Latvian. They're just words to me.

It may be rude to swear deliberatly, but it'll be alot worse if we lose freedom of speech because a couple of people like you get pissed and start some hippie petition. I mean get over it. I view 'swear' words as nouns, adejectives and verbs etc, theres nothing special about them they have just been labeled bad and we all go along with that. I actually learned in school from my english teacher that fuck means:

I think theres an over exaggeration and empahsis on swear words that should be changed. I do think that some people over use them but that can be true of anything.
I don't find it offensive, and I don't remember ever finding it offensive really. I don't like it much, and if I do swear it'll be because I'm shocked or very upset or angry. I cringe when I hear all the kids on the school buses swearing their mouths off because they think it's cool, and there are a few old people who get on my old high school's main bus route, that I still use sometimes, and I remember them always being very intimidated by the kids, especially when they started swearing and shouting at each other. Particularly the first years, and it makes me sound really old (I'm 16) and stuffy, but 11 year olds saying "fucking cunt" all the time isn't a nice thing to hear, and I can see why they were intimidated. It's sad.
