It's not like I don't like the song.. I just don't love it. I dunno.

*gasp* You don't like Aurora? or Let It Die (which apparently has added itself to the top 5 Foo songs.. just because one of 2 songs that can almost make me cry...)

Ah! i know I feel bad. It's not like I'm not on the computer all the time.. I dunno I come here and the thread doesn't move and now that the Foos are on a massive break... *le gasp*
I love Aurora and Let it Die - I guess those are exceptions. Razz I just remember how you always said you loved Statues and didn't really like Cheer Up, Boys, and I was the other way around.

And now that we can't go off-topic... this thread REALLY isn't moving. Laughing

I do love Statues. and I can't stand Cheer Up Boys ugh. and Erase/Replace. Ugh I think they're some of the Foos worst songs. I feel like Dave was just trying to write a pop anthemic song with those or just felt that he had to add intense songs to ESPG to even it out.
Statues - eh, it's alright, I don't really like it
Cheer Up, Boys - "I feel like Dave was just trying to write a pop anthemic song with those", pretty much, and I think it works really well
Erase/Replace - SUCKS.

Cheer Up Boys is awesome. Easily one of the best on that album.

Exactly, I don't think it was intended to be anything profound, just a catchy rocking song to mingle with the quiet heartfelt ones. It does it's job.

Finger YOUUU ARE FOOLS.

But anyways. Love you all.
They have the Grammy performance on youtube now.
Don't mind the fact that it's a cover of a Carly Simon song (I don't even want to know how they managed to end up doing the song)... is it weird that I actually really love this performance? I think it's great on Dave's part. His vocals were so good! He's really becoming a great singer and this shows his range.

This is coming from me who hated Dave's singing when I first listened to the Foos. But when he's not smoking 1249583 packs of cigs a day, he really does sound a lot better and I'm sure the nice break has been doing him some good. And Tay's got a haircut! But still has the goddamn porn 'stache. And Chris has a purdy Telecaster.

Grammy Nomination Performance. Carly Simon - You're So Vain cover
I'm still trying to figure out how to convert it to an audio. I want it on my itunes playlist but I dunno how to convert it on my laptop Sad HELP!!!!

That's just about my least favorite song ever - I'm so hesitant to watch the Foos cover it. Hmm...

Wow, that was actually really good. Like, crazy surprisingly good. On the contrary, Dave needs a hair cut/wash. Maybe he will follow Tay's lead.

Oh, and I think they all covered Grammy winners. Dno

I dunno how it worked Dno But it was fucking good right? I love how his voice gets so low when he sings "You're so vain..." I can't stop listening to it now. I haven't even been listening to the Foos much lately. Fuck finalllsss.

Dave needs to shave the beard! godammit. It makes him look older. Ugh. On the other hand... his wife is pregnant with baby #2. How cute is that? He's never gonna go on the road again ever. Sad

He needs to update his hair style. He used to change his hair and beard all the time but now he doesn't. Fool. He thinks the beard and the long hair make him look yonger. GET RID OF THE BEARD and stop eating 45094859340 things and get on a treadmill when you're not touring haha. I don't know what's wrong with me.
Taylor can get away with it since he's probably got the metabolism and attention span of a 5 year old.

Did I ever mention how much I love you?

My dad's gonna flip too - he heard it on the radio a few weeks again and called me freaking out about how amazing it was.

(I'm so excited for Friday's show that I couldn't give a shit when the Foos come back, right now. Laughing)

Anyway, Shifty.

I'm worried that they're not gonna tour for a WHILE. That would kinda suck. Like what RHCP and Green Day are doing. Maybe the whole recording industry has a vendetta against 90s musicians. Shocked

So excellently wonderful. Con I especially love my ripped-from-DVD extended version with the super See You on it. "I could do that with two chopsticks!"
