Food Around the Corner song meaning

"I wrote this song for everybody's moms" - Tre Cool.

This is one of Tre Cool's songs that can be heard during some of Green Day's live shows. The narrator of the song is excited in his anticipation of getting food. Maybe he's walking down a street and knows that there is a café or some other food place around the corner and so he's walking and singing "there'll be food around the corner for me", happy that his hungry desires will soon be satisfied.
