About

Its not the end, its the beginning The ground is moist, it rained last night Smells like smoke, and it smells so clean The sun is shining down like a freindly white light Here We Go Again...
So I put together quotes from here and there, I think a lot of these quotes are pretty smart, most of them represent how I feel in some way or another in life.
“What do you do when your foundation falls apart? I don't know. They don't teach you that in school.” “ Stevo (SLC Punk)
“When you blame yourself, you learn from it. If you blame someone else, you don't learn nothing, cause hey, it's not your fault, it's his fault, over there.” “ Joe Strummer
“Sometimes the most positive thing you can be in a boring society is absolutely negative.” “ Johnny Rotten
“'There's nothing glorious in dying. Anyone can do it.'” “ Johnny Rotten
“It's a repressive society where you can't be horrible, I'm not horrible, they made me horrible, I'm just honest.” - Johnny Rotten
“(Talking about Britain's school education) They take your soul away. They take your brains away. They don't let you have an opinion that's different from theirs. You've got to think what they tell you to think. So when you leave school, your only future is getting married. And by the time you're about 29 you got two kids, and you just wanna commit suicide.” “ Johnny Rotten
“Punk is not dead. Punk will only die when corporations can exploit and mass produce it.” “ Jello Biafra
“I don't think either the Offspring or Green Day started their bands with the intention of becoming so enormously popular; that sort of fell in their laps-especially the Offspring. My attitude is if somebody blunders into the level of popularity, at least remember the human factor. These guys are still human beings and hopefully still have hearts and if you keep in touch with them rather than vilify them you may be able to encourage them to go in the right direction. What I'm hoping will eventually happen is that they will grasp the amount of power and financial clout that is now at their fingertips and use those as tools to help real people with real things the way punk politics was always designed to do before, but nobody had any money.” “ Jello Biafra
“Your going to come across a lot of shitty bands, and a lot of shitty people. And if anyone of those people call you names because of what you look like, or because they don't accept you for who you are. I want you to look right at that motherf****r, stick up your middle finger, and scream F**K YOU!” “ Gerard Way
"If screaming is now music then I should have gotten a record deal when I was two." - Kurtni
"I think too many people tell me what I think and not enough ask me…" - John Lydon
" This is easy peasy pumpkin peasy... pumpkin pie mother fuckers!!" - Gerard Way
“John demanded an education, not just a stack of rules. He knew that there was no point in rebelling just for the sake of it. John knew that education was the way out of poverty. Not in the monetary sense, but as way of improving yourself. To this day he is still a firm believer in the ‘right’ of education.”

"Whether it's jazz or punk or anything else, you have to fight against the purists who want to narrow the definition. That's what kills music because it stifles it to death." “ Joe Strummer
"Advertising is legalised lying" - HG Wells
"Holy War is a contradiction of terms..." - Elie Wiesel
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Of course, you're not actually inferior, and that's why lower-level classes don't work; the people in the lower-level classes are generally there because they aren't interested enough in the topic, not because they are innately stupid.” “ www.school-survival.net
"All people found guilty of being born are sentenced to 12 years of hard labour without bail" “ SoulRiser
"Education is the ability to listen to almost anything without losing your temper or your self-confidence." - Robert Frost (1874-1963)
"Expected respect is respect unearned" “ SoulRiser
"i doubt you're brainwashed, but a LOT of the people who like school that people on this site have encountered are. meaning that the idea of school is do deeply engrained in their heads that they immediately reject any alternative, and even become hostile towards us because we think differently"-Anonymous
"I would much rather give my time for a friend than for someone who will punish me if I don't." - SoulRiser
"If you think you're too small to have an impact, try going to bed with a mosquito in the room." - Anita Koddick
"Imagination is more important than knowledge" - Albert Einstein
"In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act." - George Orwell
"It is dangerous to be right when the government is wrong." “ Voltaire
"Life is all too short and precious to waste doing things we don't want to do." - Sarah Fitz-Claridge (a psychologist)
"Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself." - George Bernard Shaw
"Parents wonder why the streams are bitter, when they themselves have poisoned the fountain." - John Locke, English philosopher (1632-1704)
"School days, I believe, are the unhappiest in the whole span of human existence." - H.L. Mencken
"Ten people who speak make more noise than ten thousand who are silent." - Napolean Bonaparte
"Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable." - John F. Kennedy
"Those who stand for nothing fall for anything" - Alexander Hamilton
"Why do humans kill humans who killed humans to show humans, that killing is wrong?"
Chris Cheney's bad Puns lol
"If I'm spitting on you guys too much, you can spit back ya know? Sorry if I'm slagging on you... Can we have an umbrella for the front row, please?" - Chris Cheney, L@TW, 2000
"because that song has beer in it it gets lots of applause, except at christmas, then it gets lots of santa claus"-Chris Cheney
"That was kind of a WEEK song..."[/font Chris - Referring to Friday on my mind by the easybeats - RocKwiz, he lost his team points for crackin a lame joke.
Someone was talking to Chris and a girl said something about myspace and Chris replied with.... "Yes everyone needs to back away and get out of my space!"
Chris: We used to climb around on the school roof and collect tennis balls, it was our kind of rebellion.
Scott: For what? I dunno, we didn't play tennis.
Jimmy on channelv asked if something was intense and chris said "No it was in venues."
(on a webchat)
<chrisisalegend>: Chris what's a good band name?
<ChrisCheney>: what about jockstrap and his elastic band - sorry for the bad humour, Im not to blame
"Anyone been to Mexico? *silence* Yeah they eat Mexican there *silence*" -Chris drinking a Corona at Metro City
"There was a man who entered a local paper's pun contest. He sent in ten different puns, hoping that at least one of the puns would win. Unfortunately, no pun in ten did." - Joke by Chris Cheney.
"What was the cornish pastie doing on the corner of the street? He was meat n potatoes" -Chris Backstage at the Channel V Bus
“Maybe if I point to my brain it will work..."-Chris Cheney
Chris Cheney's calendar goes straight from March 31st to April 2nd; no one fools Chris Cheney.
Crop circles are Chris Cheney's way of telling the world that sometimes corn needs to lie the f*ck down.

I can't help but use proper english. XD Taught that way. Even on msn I type like this. haha.
The one in Perth. =] I flew to Melbourne to see Green Day's show. And how I got back there is a looooooooong story.
Sure! But that probably won't be until their next album. ~~

Lawl. Well at first I meet them backstage at Green Day's last AI show in Melbourne. We just all hung out for a while then we had to go cause we snuck back there. (;_; 15 minutes longer and I wouldve met Green Day ;;;;;_;;;;;)
Then when they did a signing here the day SoE was released they remembered us and we chatted for ages until the line people at 78 Records got pissed. XD that was funny though. Chris needed the break though he said.
And then I used to comment their MySpace all the time and they often replied back and even gave me a photo comment and then I said I was flying to Brisbane for their show and said it was my birthday which it was at the time and they said there would be 2 backstage passes waiting for me. XD They actually left me 3 which was funny. I spent the whole time then chatting to Andy while he signed stuff for all these star struck little fans. It was adorble.
=] Yeah, I'm a little closer to them than just 'met them'. XD They remember meeeeee.

Woodrow Derenberger, May 7th, 2007 at 09:19:11am
Besides the geometry in your profile, you seem pretty cool yourself (sorry...I have a vendetta against math). I like your taste in music.
