True, but the lady did say they were previously rendered senseless to pain but I agree it's tough.

yeah, but i still don't feel okay with that happening. It upsets my stomach and makes me upset, but the specific place that it showed at least have respect for the animals and let them live a good life.

Yeah, ideally I would only buy meat from plants where animals were allowed to have free reign while they were alive, but atm, I eat whatever my parents buy from the grocery store...

Actually tbh, once I live on my own I will probably just be a vegetarian. I don;t really have a moral issue with eating meat, so I do, because my mom cooks it. But honestly, I hate the taste and the texture of it. I don't like hamburgers, fried chicken, ribs, any of the stuff that tempts people. So when I'm buying all my own food, I will be a lot happier to just avoid meat when I can.

Okay, I do not understand what is with people (because there are many) who "don't count" fish and seafood as meat.

Like I understand that a vegetarian and a pescitarian are different things but I don't understand when people claim to not eat meat, but eat fish, or say that fish/seafood doesnt count as meat.

Like wtf, is it an animal that used to be alive? Then it's meat.

But I don't get what difference they see from a cow and a fish? Like yes the texture and taste are different and they are obviously, you know, different animals, but meat is meat! I have actually had people say to me that fish is not meat.

Some days, I want to be a Vegan and then I realize that I can't because I'm anemic and then I eat meat, but I could be a Vegan, but it'd be really hard. I get organic meats because it tastes better.

Ringing in here because what you're talking about is relevant to me. I only eat fish mainly because a) it's the only meat I really like and b) when I told my mum I wanted to go vegetarian she wanted me to keep eating fish because it would at least be better for me than not eating any at all and not supplementing the lack of it in my diet.

And if people ask me if I'm vegetarian I just say yes so I don't have to go into some detailed explanation of why I only eat fish. I agree with you guys about how it's stupid that people don't see fish as a meat. I don't get that either Don

I'm a food lover. I can't understand why anyone would not eat meat.
