I found out the other day that my cousin's anorexic.

Yeah, I read an article in a magazine about them I think it's sick. Instead of being a serious health disorder some girls now considered it as a way of life and treat it just like a normal messageboard where they're encouraging people to starve themselves instead of listen to music or reccomend a film or anything that people normally talk about on normal messageboards

Fuck "normal" people. There are plenty of "normal" people on other message boards that don't even talk about that shit. If the site is for pro-anorexics, it's obvious that that would be the main topic. But it's not limited to just that. They're just like any other message boards, with general forums where people can talk about music, movies, family, school or anything they want to.

I visited one and they are disgusting. The people on there will stop at nothing. People share stories of friends and family dying, but the other's just say "I'll never take it too far." They have no idea what they have is a disease. It scares me so much.

I feel so sorry for those people. Really. It's so sad <3

It's almost the opposite of these big corperations, isn't it? Corperated comanies like Mcdonalds and KFC are subtely killing off the masses, while the people that visit them are totally oblivious. That's the same with this. There making it sound good when there subtely killing them off. What's happening to the world...?

It's sick to be encouraging that sort of thing. Eating disorders are an ILLNESS.

That's hurrendous.
That is just totally, completely sick. I can't believe people would do that! Are they so twisted that they want to ruin other people's lives? I can't honestly say it's not someone's own fault for getting anorexia because of this, because, I mean, you just don't do you, but...if you're depressed or whatever, you don't know what you're doing.

Oh, sod it. I don't care any more. If kids want to kill themselves, destroy their bodies through vanity or disorder or whatever cause they can think of, so be it. If they aren't happy, then they can die if they so wish. To be honest, I used to care, but now I don't. Fine. Don't help. Let 'em die. End of. Happy Now?

Mental health wards are full of kids with eating disorders. If they wern't stopping them, they wouldn't waste the beds or funds on them being there. It's a very under-funded area, you see.

If you take them to a "ward" that doesn't always mean they'll be healed.
You can take some out and they'll do it all over. You really helped them.

Yes, some may be beyond help. But you've got to at least try...they deserve to get help. And if they're too far gone...well, that's that. But knowing you tried to do something but failed is a lot better than having to live with the knowledge that you could have done something, but dismissed it as not your problem. Something to think about before saying things like that.
