same here. my mom likes 70's and 80's rock and country. my dad too. and
when i talk about green day or some other one of my favorite bands we always do this:

dad: why dont you go listen to some real music
me: this IS real music. its not any of that rap stuff.
dad: real music doesnt sound like that
me: it speaks to me dad. it has a meaning
dad: it doesnt have a meaning

and he goes on and on how it sounds like shit. whatever

Real-real-real good music is stuff from the 50's-70's.

we were on a feild trip and i was listening to basket case on my cd player and there were these two other girls who love green day a lot too and they were singing basket case as they were listening to it on one of their ipods at the exact same time i was. it was really weird.

My mom thinks they're all ugly, but she likes some dead guy from this band she likes, and that guys all decaying. I mean how hot was that guy when he was alive? He can't be that hot to still like him since he's been dead for like ever.

Ummm, a few hours ago I had a feeling like Green Day was on somthing at that moment, then I was listening to the AOL Green Day station and I wanted to listen to Christie Road so bad and it came on!! (: I was happy.

I got out of the shower and turned on tha radio, before turning it on I thought maybe wmuwse is on I havent heard it for a while, I turn on the radio and I hear billie joe an acoustic guitar sayin "what I lost wake me up when september ends" xD

i can always hear when a green day song comes on, even if i have headphones on and they're blasting.
and i always sense a gd song on another station.
yeah it's weird.
it's happened to me many times. i'll have my cd player like, blasting in my ears to drown out my sister's stupid radio, and then i pause it and i'm like "is that a gd song?" and it is! or i'll change the station RIGHT when there's a gd song playing.
mmhmm i'm talented.
i call it my Green Day Super-Sonic Hearing Superpower. =]

One time, I really hoped that "When I Come Around" would come on, and the next song was it!

I do that a lot. I'll be watching Kerrang! and I'll think "Yeah, £20 says Green Day come on next". Seriously, if I did that for real, i'd be very rich. I should try it.

And, this has completely nothing to do with being Green Day Psychic, but one time, my mum's radio alarm went off, and it was Holiday. That was the most pleasant 5am wakeup I ever got. And she left it on till it finished

caught blvd. of broken dreams playing...

i came downstairs one day and SHA ZAM tre was on my tv

Oh, once i said randomly "Green Day is on the radio and i turned on my fav station and they were singing "when i come around"! It was sweet

I do that all the time, and I'm pretty sure I've said it before.
I always seem to call it with Welcome to Paradise though. I'll like be thinking about the video and when I saw it when I was little, and turn the TV on, then bam, it'll be on.
