Prosthetic Head is about people who do everything possible to act and look 'perfect'. The lyrics are harsh and point out how lots of people these days 'erase themselves' to become more like something they consider perfection. They have plastic surgeries done, they starve themselves, follow the latest fashion - anything that will make them look like cover girls and top models. However, they don't realize that all those actions make them lose their individuality and become synthetic. They look more like mannequins than people, and that's not perfect - that's pathetic.
