King for a Day song meaning

The narrator is telling the listeners about his cross-dressing hobby. He started trying on his mother’s clothes when he was 4 years old, and as soon as his family found out about it his father threw him in therapy because he thought that cross-dressing is not something a real man would do. The narrator disagrees with this opinion and states that "sugar and spice and everything nice" isn't made for girls only - there is nothing wrong with trying on woman's clothes if that gives you some sort of emotional or physical satisfaction. Thinking that cross-dressing makes you "not a real man" is no more than an out-dated stereotype.
