Well. It was our principal at the complaint of.. .who knows who really? It just bugs me. Because it's got a positive message if people could get past the little details to find it.

I think it's ridiculous that schools can ban stuff like that just because they're scared. If the majority of the theatre department wants to go through with it then send a memo home and get over it. No one's going to force them to go see it.

We were talking about it in theatre. And our teacher was like, "it isn't allowed" and everyone in class who knows the show flipped out. Our class tends to riot a lot though. That's why I love it. We can have opinions and our teacher actually wants them.

How do they figure RENT creates a positive attitude toward drugs? I mean Roger's girlfriend killed herself because she got HIV presumably from her heroin use and using unclean needles. If they're that homophobic then just say, "We feel no one would come see the show" We can't even have posters because our school is full of a$s who complain "oh they had AIDS" [/rant] Anyway. If you've seen it, did you enjoy the show?
