Personally and like most people on here I see nothing wrong with Homosexuality.

Some churches regard it "evil" and "wrong" because they believe it isn't what God created for us. If he wanted homosexuality in the world he would have created female OR male, not both.

I am fine with gay people. I believe I am a Christian but I see nothing wrong with it because it is natural. On a birth certificate it doesn't say:

MOTHER:
FATHER:
PLACE OF BIRTH:
CHOOSE WHETHER THIS BABY IS HOMOSEXUAL OR HETEROSEXUAL - please delete as appropriate.

It is people's own choice. It's their life, their feelings.

Not really. Think

You have animals that are gay, how can it not be natural?

One of the most important traits of living beings is the possibility to reproduce. Having this in mind, I don't see how it's natural, opposite sexes are there for a reason, and a mighty good one at that.

Well we could debate whats natural and what isn't for a looong time. I see your point though.

I find myself more "unnatural" than any homosexual since I have a "power" to reproduce and I... don't even want to.

Why does it matter if children are offspring of the people who raise them?
The important thing isn't if the child was adopted, raised in a biological family, or born to a surrogate mother, the important thing is if the child is raised in a positive, loving family.

What about men and women who have health problems and are incapable of having children?
If a man who has such a health problem marries a woman with none, and they want a child, it would be unnatural for the woman to go to a birth clinic and use sperm that was donated, correct?

Can a man be impregnated?

No, I never claimed one could.

However, a man (or a homosexual couple) can adopt, they can raise a child who was born to a surrogate mother.

You also didn't reply to almost everything I said.
How do you feel about a married couple where one partner is medically incapable of either becoming impregnated or impregnating? Adoption is still not natural, nor is sperm donations or surrogate mothers.
Is it okay when a heterosexual couple does one of those things?

Or should people with certain health problems not be allowed to raise a child, even if the alternative means having the child born into an abusive household or one where the parents cannot provide for the child?

Okay good.
I didn't reply to you because I failed to see how your post had anything to do with mine.

Adopting and giving birth isn't the same thing.
Ella never said that a homosexual couple shouldn't adopt (I guess thats what you think Shifty), but that being gay isn't natural because they cant naturally reproduce.

Dont know why you are going against her since you cant say its a lie. Besides her thinking like that doesn't make her a homophobe or anything. Dno

Stating biological fact - the fact that two men or two women having sex isn't going to produce a child - isn't disrespect, it's just truth. It's not so much that gay people can't bring children up and make them well rounded individuals and give them all the love in the world - being a 'parent' and doing everything after the actual birth of a child. Sperm and sperm or eggs and eggs aren't going to develop into a baby, which is what our reproductive organs are for, so natural order would say being gay isn't "natural" because our instincts are food, water, babies.
I'm in no way homophobic, but biology says we're made to make humans, and a gay couple on their own cannot make humans.

I feel that there was an attack on homosexuality and I find that disrespectful.

Oh so now I'm homophobic? lmfao

For someone who hates words being put into their mouth, you do it exceptionally well yourself.

I have never, not once made a disrespectful remark about homosexuality.
SD is not about activism, sometimes I speak from a different point of view for the sake of the discussion.

Oh and something you might want to keep on your mind:
NeoSteph:

Rule 5:You are open to critisism at all times, if someone feels the need to destroy your argument they may do so. However it cannot get personal, attack the argument not the person.

Oh, God, we are homophobes now. Cheese

Haven't you read what Jo wrote? Its the truth. Ella isn't a homophobe nor am I. That isn't a disrespectful comment because its the truth.

We never said that when something is unnatural then that is immediately bad.

If it was not intended that way, good.
If you interpert things differently than I do, fine.

But I don't really care what someone like you thinks of me.
