Was Hitler a weak or strong dictator? Did he do any good?

Look, I'm not trying to debate either. I'm not trying to offend you or anything. I'm just wondering, how can you look up to him even past all that he's done? Like I said, you're entitled to your own opinion. And for the record, I'm Native too, and I hate Andrew Jackson. But I'm also Hungarian, and the family members that didn't come to America prior to WWII died brutally in Auschwitz. I can see where you're coming from, I really can. But can you at least see where I'm coming from?

WWII has always been a really touchy subject for me, even before I found out that my family was killed in it. When I was a little kid, in my dreams I would see things sometimes that I now, after studying it in school, recognize to be from WWII. Also, I have two life lines, the first of which is shorter than the other. I've been told that there's a possibility I died in WWII. I don't know whether that's true or not, and I don't really care, because it was still a horrible time for everyone in the world and it's always been my favorite subject to learn about, but also the most painful.

I really do see where you're coming from, and I'm really trying to see it from your POV. I personally think Charles Manson was a genius, and I slightly look up to him for his ability to manipulate people into getting what he wanted. And I know Hitler did the same thing. But I also know that it's completely wrong and the world might've been a better place if they hadn't done those things.

And I know that it wasn't entirely Hitler's fault. If he had been brought up differently or gotten into the college he wanted to go to he mightn't have turned out like he did. I read somewhere that he lived in a very anti-Semetic community and read somewhere else that he had an abusive stepdad. I can relate to the latter, but if he hadn't let it get to him where would we be now?

I know I'm rambling at this point, but it's 12:23 AM, I just got back from a wedding, and I'm tired as hell. I'm really sorry if I've offended you in any way, but please just try to see it my way for a second. A lot of the time family doesn't mean much to me, but when it comes down to it if you fuck with someone I care about you fuck with me. And nobody fucks with me because I am a very vengeful person. I just hope you can understand that.

That that he made death camps,
That he was a murder,
That he didn't like certain groups for whatever reason,
That he treated others poorley for lack of a legit reason,
None of that,
I have looked passed it, and seen the positives, the streangths, the abilty, the talent,
and I look up to that, I fine that to be something worthy of a hero.

Of course not all black people do, and I don't hear the few that do walk around complaining, just on documentaries and random clips [which I'm pretty much sure the media controlled that way].
But I can speak from actual experience that some hispanic people do jokingly complain. [Not of slavery or anything but other things] infront of white people.

I am not an optomist. Hitler was smart, yes.

But he had mental problems and delusions that he and all other Germans and those with blonde hair and blue eyes who were also straight and Christian and yadda yadda were perfect beings and everyone else was the dirt under their shoes.

If I respected every smart person, regardless of what they did, then I would not only have a very extensive list of people to respect, but would also be very naive and screwed up. Yes, I should look up to Hitler.

And Hannibal Lecter and Charles Manson and Fred Phelps and Vladimir Lenin and Karl Marx and Vlad Tepes and Charles I of England and Napoleon Bonaparte, just to name a few.

Yes, I should not only look up to and respect these "people", I should worship the ground they walk on. They were incredible people; can't you see all the good they've done in this world? How much everyone loved/loves them?

To answer the question that this thread brought up, I think he was a very strong dictator. The only good I can think that he did was pretty much warning us against nutjobs like him EVER getting ANY power again. That's my input; that's all.
