Child molestation

I think they should be killed. They've taken/destroyed some child's life..

I'm not for this therapy-back to the society stuff, I just think child molesters don't deserve that at all..

That's true. They do destroy children's lives. I mean, practically everyone's read the Chicken Soup books and stuff. But I don't think they deserve to die. Every human being deserves therapy, but by no means should child molesters/rapists be allowed back into society. They should be given therapy and kept in jail. With all the other criminals. None of this solitary business or special sex offender ward or anything.

Um...well...I was gonna say you can't execut Molesters unless they actually killed the person who they molested and would be sentences to death. But does anyone deserve to die? Even if it was a bad person?

i dont think they should be killed, i think they should suffer in prison, never to be let out and they should have privalages taken from them. i mean my dad was in prison (for nothing) and the things the guys in there hate most are rapists and pedophiles so i wouldnt say that they'd have a very jolly time in there

they are mostly put in secure wings of prisons, but your right they should not be killed if killing is wrong in the eyes of the law then its wrong for everyone.

Not nesessarily. My old music teacher was convicted of distributing and possessing child pornography a few weeks ago, and now he has to register as a sex offender whenever he moves (there might have been a charge of soliciting sex with a minor, but I can't remember). They never found evidence that anyone locally was preyed upon or molested by him. Thankfully. But before he was caught, he seemed like a very normal person. He had flaws, but then again, everyone has flaws, don't they? Most people around here assumed he just had a passion for music and working with kids, being he was a music teacher. He was generally someone you'd never think of as being capable of doing something like that. He was just, a normal person.
But I'm not saying that every pedo is like him. Yes, there are quite a few 'obvious' ones out there. But there are still some that blend in with the rest of society.

I read somewhere that people are saying that being a pedophile is sexuality like being gay or straight. And that there are people who are attracted to kids, but don't actually go out and touch them or anything. it was interesting.

The problem is, is that the child would be considered too young to consent so it becomes illegal, even if questioned in such a way. Pedophiles are like people with lisps, you just need to find a way of fixing their genetic quirk. Even if it's not fair to the victim. It's like if a mentally disabled person commits murder...

I think we should take matters into our own hands and kill them ourselves.

LAW is what seperates us from animals LAW is what stops anarchy from breaking out and breaking down 'polite' society LAW is what allows us to keep our morals, because we know we are protected.

and it really dosnt have anything to do with them cause its down to me they can only try and stop me from killing somone.. and if somone took the life of a friend or family member that is what i would want to do... depending on the case of corse.

and im not being funny... but seriously...whenever you see somone who is remotely attractive do you go up and have a play?? tell them not to tell anyone it wont hurt... the answer is NO... they have the will to stop themselves... there just disgusting.. and how can you justifie the pain and suffering the child has to go through at the time and as they grow up?

you have obviously misunderstood everything i'm saying 0_o

i'm not saying the crime is any less significant but to understand the nature of what happened you have to take all aspects into account. you can't ignore mental health probems because of the deprevity of the crime.
