OMG, that's terrible
omgno
What the fuck is wrong with people these days, I blame parents. I mean I've never done anything like that, because I was taught better. Parents need to be more of authority figures instead of best friends like I see them trying to do all the time. It's sad because I meet all these little sluts of girls and they're like bairly old enough to know what a period is like. It's awful. I got a cell phone last year, it can only call and take pictures, no games or anything. The lack of caring in school, the disobediance, the ignorance this is all becoming to much. My generation is turning into monsters, and I feel so alone. I know there are plenty of good kids out there. Just in my city, it's filled with pot heads and girls are getting knocked up left and right. It's quite sad.

^Yeah tell me about it. I had this one girl in my class who, in my freshman year of high school, had her baby. Needless to say, she wised up quick after that.

But I talk to my sister, who's still at that school since I'm in college and she says that there are so many pregnant girls there it's insane. And many of them are in the lower grades.

I guess it just depends. I guess that the majority of girls in this time and age are growing up way too fast, but there is that select group of us who haven't grown up too fast at all and that's not a bad thing at all. Idk, depends on what group you look at...

I'm trying not to blame anyone because I really don't like blaming, but I think the media DOES play a huge role in this. I know it's said over and over, but it is true. Pretty much everyone is into music right ? So, music videos will be played alot and I've gotta say, how freaking sexual and violent do you have to be in a music video ?! omgno Kids look up to rockstars and movie stars and sports stars and whatever, so I think they have a responsibility to act at least a tad decent omgno

what does this have to do with getting older? or are you just saying that this follows along with the 'slut' trend.

I'm not a slut, but I do think school is the biggest waste of time and a big big joke.

oh, and whats wrong with pot heads?

How is school a big waste of time and a joke?

And in my own opinion, there's a lot wrong with pot heads, but I won't get into it on this thread as it doesn't belong here.

WTF omgno I think people are forgetting that school is for learning and is SO VERY IMPORTANT if you want to make a living. School is a place to socialise aswell, but it's not just all about the cliques and whatever Rolling Eyes

See, and it's the problem. This whole world wants you to live on one cycle.. you know, be born, go to school, get straight As, then get a job. I know, Its been repeated.

But is any of this significant? do you really think we're put here for a reason. well, I sure as hell don't. And school is getting very hard nowadays, and so many kids (and people with their jobs) are getting extremely stressed out. it's like all life is about is being successful. We are SO INSIGNIFICANT simply compared to our earth, nature, and the universe. If i'm gonna live here once, and I am gifted with human intelligence and emotion, i'm going to make the very most out of it. For us, all 6 billion of us little ants, we're so concerned about school and being 'sucessful'. I think we're just all inslaved in this sick cycle. If you like to go to school, and you like the subjects and youre interested in wheat is being taught, that's fine. that's part of exercising the intelligence you have in the way you want.

in a nutshell, it is very pathetic that we're all stressed out that we need to do our best in school (something this is just so insignificant), so we can go to a good college, and get a good job, so we make lots of money.

do you ever just stop and think, 'is this how life should be? is this really important? Is this what life is about?'

if you'd like to debate this further, PM me. cause its totally off-topic. XD

I do not enjoy school, but it is important.
I have reasons for wanting money, my mom needs a lot of sugeries etc.
And with what my dad's job pays she'll most likely never get them
So I want to a make enough money so my mom won't be in pain. I have reasoning, school is important, it's boring at times but it's a very good thing to have.

Tbh Bleach, I agree. I've always wondered why we are stuck on this cycle and why we don't do anything different omgno I can't do nothing about that, and tbh I don't want to be homeless when I have to start having to support myself.
BUT THAT WAS SOMEWHAT OFF TOPIC Coolio Anyway, I think it does have to do with lack of care in school. It's like people think you have to be dumb to be 'hot' and that you can't be blonde and successful or something omgno Butttt, I don't think it has anything to do with pot heads Smiley

I believe what was meant by the statement that "lack of caring in school is what causes girls to grow up too fast" was taken an odd way.

If girls don't care about school, what do they do in school besides learn? They socialize. Socialization usually causes you to look for the ones who are "cool" in one's own eyes, and in often cases, they're the older girls. Thus: girls grow up faster than how they should.

[offtopic]High school is a waste due to the cliques, but do well in there because College is SO MUCH BETTER THAN HIGH SCHOOL. Get there; don't slack. Believe me..[/offtopic]

Sorry, it's just I got caught up in all that, that it reminded me of the alarming amount of pot heads we have at my school. It's quite ridiculous.

Back on topic.
And that is what they do, socialise and not do their work, I mean they arn't growing up at all. Unless you define growing up as having sex as a minor and dressing like a whore. They're growing down not up. File

^NICE.

So maaaaybe, this just means that girls AREN'T growing up too fast, because growing up=maturity.

These girls we keep mentioning are not mature, in fact they're quite the opposite. They're just less innocent than they ever have been.

VERY good points made in the comments above me lmfao
I had a problem with the title, yeah. "Are girls growing up too fast?" Because, if they were growing up they wouldn't act like bimbos and act more lady like I guess ;|

I hear little girls cursing. And there's no way they can be much older than 12 or 13, if that. I know I probably regularly started cursing around 13 or 14. I mean, sure, cursing isn't too terrible, but it sounds sleazy, at least to me.
And my dad and I often talk about how you see girls walking around that look to be 11 or 12, but they're trying to dress like an 18 year old prostitute... It's sad and true. I see those girls frequently. I would never know how old they were by the way they wear their clothes and have their cleavage showing, but I'm certain a lot of them can't be much older than 13.

^Yeah, that's sad. I never said any curse words regularly until maybe two years ago or so. Songs, yes, I'd whisper them so my parents wouldn't hear...and I still don't curse in front of my parents (my mom has a reflex where her arm likes to fly if she hears one of us say it...even though we're old enough and she knows we say it).

I still blame the media. :]

I feel that that is how the younger generations have ended up how they are, by not caring about education and calling it a 'joke'.
