Green Day tour
Green Day head out to Europe to begin their 1998 world tour.
Green Day set out on the "Nimrod." tour. Billie, caught on tape, jumped into the crowd at a show at the Fillmore (in CA, USA) in terms of fighting one of the "mohawk mother fuckers" in the crowd.
Green Day headed to Europe in November of 1997 to perform several shows, from Milan to London.
Before Billie was arrested for indecent exposure in Milwaukee, Green Day headed to Europe for a short tour.
Green Day abruptly cancelled the European tour of 1995 due to exhaustion and the birth of Billie Joe's first son, Joey.
Promoting their album "Insomniac", Mike also picked a fight with a fan in the crowd who stuck their arm down a girl's pants who was crowd surfing. Billie Joe was dressed in a clown suit.
Now on a major label, Green Day went out on a tour to promote the new album "Dookie". They headed out in a bookmobile and joined the 1994 Lollapalooza tour as the underdogs, as well as performed one of the most well-known Woodstock performances; mud and all. Billie also, as a very famous stunt, performed "She" naked at Madison Square Garden for charity.
This is the first tour where Green Day headed out and had a HUGE new fanbase. They began playing in bigger-capacity clubs.
After Kerplunk! was released, Green Day headed out across the United States with a highly-increasing fan base.
Heading out on their first "real" tour with Tre, the guys set out and tried to pick up any gigs they could, including the Paint Factory.
After a successful tour across the United States, Green Day attempted to gain some fans in Europe. Although when they arrived they were already well-known! There is a home video of the guys on one night from this tour.
Heading out on another tour, with Al Soborante as their drummer, Green Day traveled all across the United States. It was during this tour, in Minnesota, that Billie Joe met Adrienne Nesser, now currently his wife. They headed back out in late 1990 with Tre as their new drummer.
The first tour Green Day took off on across the western side of the United States from garages to small house parties. They left the day after Mike graduated from high school, with Al Soborante on drums.
